When children play on a common play area, such as a playground, they learn how to social interact with other children. These lessons are carried on through adulthood, so when they take their children to the playground, the now parents social interact with other parents. Play Dates, for example is when a group of parents bring their children to a specified location so that everyone can interact socially. The social bonds that can be created and nurtured at a playground can be use throughout a child’s entire life. Time to go out and play!
